Mira of Many learned the foundations of the craft from the last keeper of a roadside shrine, who demanded three answers before offering any lesson: who would benefit, who would pay the price, and what would remain when the excitement ended.

Recently, Mira of Many uncovered a list of names ending with their own. The clue connects the old arrests to a chamber beneath the city where a forgotten agreement is still being enforced. Now the trail has narrowed to one dangerous purpose: bring the missing home. Mira of Many has accepted that the next door may close forever once crossed.
